Majestic Apartment W/ Patio by LovelyStay

Majestic Apartment W/ Patio by LovelyStay Overview

First Impressions

Honestly, the moment you turn onto Rua do Benformoso and spot the building, you get this sense that you’ve found something a bit tucked away — in the best possible way. The Majestic Apartment W/ Patio by LovelyStay isn’t a sprawling hotel complex, and that’s exactly the point. It’s got that intimate, residential feel that makes you want to slow down and actually settle in rather than just drop your bags and rush out.

Location & Neighborhood

Arroios is one of those neighborhoods that Lisbon locals genuinely love, and it’s rated as one of the top areas in the whole city — which, once you spend a day wandering around, makes complete sense. You’re close to Intendente square, which has this wonderfully lived-in energy, with tiled café fronts, small grocers, and people actually going about their day rather than performing for tourists. The area has a multicultural character that gives it real texture. It’s the kind of place where you stumble onto a great pastel de nata almost by accident.

The Apartment & Patio

This is a four-star property, and the apartment itself reflects that — there’s genuine thought put into the space. The patio is honestly the standout feature. I mean, having your own outdoor space in Lisbon, where the light does that golden late-afternoon thing, is something you don’t take for granted. It’s the sort of spot where you pour a glass of something local and just sit for a while, which is harder to find than you’d think at this price point. The interiors feel clean and considered without being cold or overly styled.

Perfect for Two

Couples especially seem to click with this place — it consistently gets high marks from pairs traveling together, and you can see why. There’s an intimacy to the setup that suits a trip for two far better than a standard hotel room would. You’ve got your own space, your own patio, your own rhythm. Breakfast in, evening out, or the other way around — the apartment gives you that flexibility without making you feel like you’re roughing it. It’s sort of the sweet spot between self-catering independence and the comfort of a well-managed property.

Why Guests Love It

The rating sits at 8.2, which in a city as competitive as Lisbon actually means something — guests aren’t handing out high scores just because a place looks nice in photos. What comes through in the feedback is that the experience feels genuine and well-run, without the impersonal edge you sometimes get from larger properties. The LovelyStay management tends to be responsive and attentive, which matters when you’re in a city for only a few days and don’t want small hiccups to eat into your time. If you’re planning a trip to Lisbon and want something that feels more like staying in the city than visiting it, this apartment is well worth considering.

Exploring Lisbon layers pastel hills, Atlantic breezes, and bakeries perfuming dawn with warm pastéis de nata.
